1 - Install
Steam, but in the options, choose to install it into a "Windows Vista"
bottle (it'll say that it's unsupported but don't worry about this). 2 - When Steam is installed, install Football Manager 2010 3 - After it has installed, open a console 4 - type "stress --cpu 24" 5 - If the above gave you a command not found message, see below 6
- Try launching Football Manager 2010. Nine times out of ten, it'll
launch. If fm.exe just sits there "sleeping", kill it and try launching
again from Steam

Stress: Command not found
You
need a small app called 'Stress' (
http://weather.ou.edu/~apw/projects/stress/ ) - this is normally found
in your repository if you're using a major distribution
---
Issues
The
two issues I've found so far are slightly jerky 3D engine (although
still very playable), and the sound doesn't work (it usually plays a
half second burst of crowd cheering at the beginning of your first
match, and then nothing after that)
