Sorting 'This graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for shader support' errors
If FSX displays the error 'This graphics card does not meet the minimum requirements for shader support. This product requires a geforce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card' then try altering some registered dlls. I can't be absolutely specific as various Crossover versions seem to behave differently.
Use Wine configuration to amend some dlls (the libraries tab) If there is a dxdiagn dll change it from native,builtin to native. If that does not work try builtin. If there is no dxdiagn dll then add one.
If the same error happens do the same thing for the devenum and quartz dlls. That is change from native,builtin to native and if that does not work try builtin.
Unfortunately Crossover updates change some dll settings or duplicate an existing dll with a different setting, which can cause problems.
