Flash Player 7 Tips

No Tip Title!

Some sites use JavaScript code to detect whether Flash is installed. Unfortunately some of these sites use incorrect code that will fail to recognize Flash 6 or 7 as 'Flash 5' capable and will ask Windows and CrossOver users alike to 'upgrade' to Flash 5! But you can work around this problem by editing '~/.cxoffice/dotwine/cxbottle.conf' and modifying the '[NPSWF32.dll]' section near the end so that it looks like the following:

[NPSWF32.dll]
Name=Shockwave Flash
Description=Shockwave Flash 5.0 r21
