Flash MX 2004 Tips

I've run into two seperate types of problems installing this application:

1.)

The first time I tried to install the application as an unsupported crossover application from the cd (With the OS set as XP) I got the Flash setup to start and finish, but the progress bar for copying files jumped from about 50% to 100% very quickly at the end of the setup, and the application would not start. Which makes me wonder if the Flash setup fully installed the application. I am unsure what I did different from my later tries that enabled me to get the install to run let alone install all or most of the files for the program. I am also currently unsure if it would not run because of the installer or perhaps because of the application.

2.)

More recently I have been unable to replicate the install I got the first time. Currently upon running the crossover install as an unsupported application from the cd (With the any of the OS settings, I have tried all of them) I have been unable to get the Flash setup to run. It freezes before bringing up the main Flash setup screen for the application.

I will try more testing this week using the newest builds and also by copying the application of a windows workstation to see if it is merly a installer problem, the actual application, or both.
