If FL Studio 7 seems to hang, meaning it doesnt respond to clicks etc. (maybe itll give you a system bell), its most of the time a popup window thats located behind the Main window. To solve this is to let the window manager handle the windows. Configure this in winecfg => graphics in the appropiate bottle.
Once done this, you can switch windows by using Alt+Tab (on most distros of Linux).
Once it happens again, just switch through the windows to the popup thats blocking FL Studio 7 and do what has to be done there.
