Some very general help that got this working for me on silicon:
-make sure you follow the wiki steps on properly updating gptk formulas. Proper updates got me from crashing at every combat opportunity, to a nearly xbox one performance. (impressive so far considering gptk and Sonoma are in beta)
-may just be a weaker system of mine (Mac mini), but I get the random crashes as I try to play with higher settings
-huge culprits to disable: hair/turf works, turn down TRAM, consider setting resolution to 75%, combination of this etc got me in a very playable state
