FS 17 Crashes a lot at start up. In order to play under Crossover you have to launch the game several times.
Don't worry though because once it's up and running it plays very well for very long periods of time, just be careful, many actions in the game require the game to restart. For example changing control settings, adding mods (and this game often needs mods), or disconnecting from multiplayer.
I have noticed that you have a more successful time starting the application if you do not have any joysticks enabled. Disable joysticks via Crossover's Game Controller's applet.
