I wonder who wrote the tip above?...what he forgot to mention, was
you can get around all the CD swapping business by doing the following;

Create a new directory somewhere, call it something logical like
'farcry_install' or whatever. One by one, copy the contents of each
of the 5 CD's (just everthing on CD 1 and the .cab files from the
other 4 discs). Now, when installing, use the 'Other installer file'
option during installation, and browse to setup.exe copied into the
directory above. Installation should proceed normally but a -lot-
quicker if you take the time to do this.

Installer may hang on exit: Once installation has completed, you may notice that cxinstallwizard
will just hang and not complete successfully - if this happens to you, enter the following command
in a shell/console ;

killall IDriver.exe

That should successfully complete the installation, and cxinstallwizard will finish things
off as expected....do not start the game yet, as we still have other tasks to perform before
the game will actually start/run. Those instructions you can read in my other tip&trick here
