Alright, so here is how Fallout : New Vegas can be installed and run using Crossover 24!
1) Install Fallout New Vegas in Steam if you have that version. Steam should have been installed as a Windows 10, 64-bit bottle beforehand.
Also install into Steam: DXVK (64-bit dlls only) , DXVK (Builtin), DXVK (Upstream), DirectX for Modern Games, and Core Fonts.
2) Bethesda Audio Override : Go into the winecfg or wineconfiguration, of the Steam Bottle.
add the following files by copying and pasting in the libraries tab in Wine Configuration using "Add New Library"
x3daudio1_6
x3daudio1_7
xaudio2_6
xaudio2_7
3) Now start Fallout New Vegas for the first time, and then exit without fully starting up the game, this will set up the documents for the game preferences.
4) Now look for the text document named Fallout.ini, it is found here : ~/Documents/My Games/FalloutNV/Fallout.ini
5) Now open the Fallout.ini with an application for opening and editing simple text files or .txt with the suffix in the title. Now go into the file and find the line, "bUseThreadedAI=0" (Without Quotes) replace the line with "bUseThreadedAI=1" (without quotes) and add one new line directly below it with "iNumHWThreads=2" (Without Quotes) now save the changes and exit the document.
6) Congratulations! Now you have Fallout : New Vegas running smoothly!
