The installation of EViews seems to work fine. When you start EViews, a window appears that says that EViews hasn't been registered yet. Up to now everything works as expected. However, if you click on any button on the registration info window (e.g. "register now" or "register later"), EViews immediately crashes. Maybe this happens when EViews calculates the Machine ID (http://register1.eviews.com/help/machine_id.html)?
