Recently the Daybreak Everquest client and even the Steam version (Once it goes to Daybreak side) looks to stall during download and update. This is nothing to do with Cross Over but looks like the network stream gets stuck.
What to do?
1. Make sure during initial install you do not log in. After the initial installer is installed quit it (ignore the warnings).
2. Start the installer and log in
3. IF it stalls (and I left it on for 4 hours without 0 bytes transferred at times), just Quit and restart.
4. It might take a few tries but ultimately will work.
