This software is native for both linux and macos (M1 chip macs as well) it does almost everething epic games launcher does. The project is mature, stable and it updates at a fast rate. The online Multiplayer works but you have to set crossover as the default wine build in the heroic settings. To do so click on the game you want to play in the heroic library and open the game settings menù, in there select Wine options. In there you'll find three fields delete the entry in the first one. In the second field "Custom wine proton build" click on the + symbol and browse to the crossover's folder and inside that look for a file named wine. For macs the path should be: /Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/SharedSupport/CrossOver/CrossOver-Hosted Application/wine the last element is the file you are looking for. For Linux debian based distributions the path should be: /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine . In the last field click on the arrow symbol and select custom wine build option. Heroic will use the bottle you set as your default bottle in crossover.
