If your Endnote 8.00 crashes alot, you need to patch it to 8.02. Crossover 5.0 will automatically ask you to upgrade from 8.00 to 8.02.
You can update with older versions of Crossover with the following command or something like it:
/opt/cxofficebeta/bin/wine msiexec.exe /p EN802Patch.msp
