At least with Fedora 3, the 'Cite while you Write' feature is unusable. Therefore, I suggest using the RTF scan feature instead. Therefore, convert your word document to RTF and then have Endnote scan it. You can do a similar thing with Open Office, which might be a better alternative.
I wrote this when I had Crossover Office 4.2. Please check my workarounds for Crossover Office 5.0.Pro. These workarounds may also work with older versions of Crossover. I haven't checked them.
