There are no tips per se, I just wanted to say that easy md5 creator works as expected on my iMac with crossover mac v6.1.0.
I also want to mention that it might depend on which version of crossover that you are using, whether or not easy md5 creator will run. It will always install properly and create the necessary menu items. If I remember correctly, easy md5 creator worked fine with Xandros Linux v2 and crossover v2.1, then with crossover v3/v4/v5 (on Xandros), easy md5 creator was a no go. Then I got my iMac and crossover mac v6.0.0 and easy md5 creator still did not work. But happiness was obtained with crossover mac v6.1.0 and easy md5 creator works as one would expect. As they say, this was my experience and your mileage may vary.
