It seems that with the new DVDFab version or with the new CrossOver versions, IE6 is not required to use/install DVDFab. You can now just create a Windows XP bottle and install DVDFab right away. Tweaking the drives should not be necessary anymore either but can still help in case of problems. However the newest version of dvdfab does require crossover 8+
