Although the information required to get DVD Decrypter going is here in the database, a clear HOWTO is lacking. Please be aware this is only tested working under LINUX. I don't have a Mac and probably never will, so I can't guarantee that it will work on a Mac. I believe there are significant differences in hardware drivers and accessing media under MacOS as opposed to how Linux systems do it.
Download the installer
Run the Crossover Installer wizard, select Other Unsupported application and a Windows 2000 bottle to install into.
After the install completes, open the Manage Bottles tool
Select the Control Panel Tab
Launch the Wine Configuration tool
On the Applications tab, highlight Default Settings, then at the bottom of the window, change Windows version from Windows 2000 to Windows NT 4.0
Hit OK and exit the manage bottles tool
You can now launch the DVD Decrypter program and it should have no trouble finding the DVD drives. Don't forget to go into the program settings and disable automatic update checking (the program is abandoned and there will be no further updates).
