Dungeon Siege Tips

To Run Dungeon Siege under Linux

NOTE: The Digital Rights Management (DRM) software in this program might prevent it from running in CrossOver. If you are in a legal jurisdiction which allows removal of such software, you may have luck running this program. Unfortunately, CodeWeavers, because they are subject to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, will be unable to support you.

In order for DS to run under Linux Games (7.1.1 tested) you must run winecfg in the bottle DS is installed in and click the Audio tab. Make sure that audio is setup and click Apply (most users should make sure ALSA is checked, few will need OSS)

An alternative to this is to use the 'No Audio' link in the Troubleshooting menu.

If sound is not configured and you attempt to play using the normal link, the game will crash.
