Install steam into a new bottle via cxinstaller (~/.cxoffice/bin/cxinstaller or via the Programs Menu). After Steam has been updated, install Dungeon Defenders II via steam, and enjoy (VS C++ library looked to be the only requirement, which installed on it's own with no issues).
The only issue I have run into is that the News does not seem to load within the Launcher. Clicking Play brings up the game, and everything is great from there on.
