Workaround for "Unable to locate necessary files. Please run Setup.exe from the CD-ROM disc" message.
If you are getting the "Unable to locate necessary files. Please run Setup.exe from the CD-ROM disc" message from the installer and you are trying to install from a mounted .iso file try using cdemu to mount the .iso file instead. So install cdemu and run this command:
cdemu load 0 DUNE2000.iso
To mount the .iso file. Then install through crossover and the installer should recognise the .iso file as the CD-ROM. To unload the .iso file run this command:
