To bypass the useless main menu and to launch straight into the search screen change the following from
--check --cx-app "C:////Program Files////DtMS////Australian Phonedisc////automenu.exe"
to
--check --cx-app "C:////Program Files////DtMS////Australian Phonedisc////phone32.exe"
using the kmenu editor (not sure about Gnome as I only use KDE)
