Deus Ex Tips

Hello, this is Kaos Nova #AlitaArmy and here is another one of my Kaos Tutorials!
Today, we will be going over how to install Deus Ex, the first person
shooter with stealth and RPG elements, from 2000 and 2001! Deus Ex was a
major game on the PC, followed by the Sony Playstation 2 with the port
called Deus Ex: The Conspiracy. In 2016, a mod for the game was
released which converts the game of Deus Ex into a different set of maps
and secrets. Today, we will be going over the Installation of both
Deus Ex and the Revision Mod, primarily using the GOG.com version, as the Steam Installation and gameplay is far more simple.

First,
download the GOG.com version of the game. There are separate
installation files for the base game and The Revision Mod. First, we
will begin by installing the base game. After the base game is
installed, the Revision Mod will be installed into the Bottle made when
you installed the Base Game. So let's begin by using the Installers to
install a Windows 10, 64-bit bottle. The current CrossTie is not
available, so use the option of "install an unlisted application" as
shown below. Then name the Bottle and set the Bottle to be a Windows
10, 64-bit Bottle.

Now that the Bottle Specifications are set up, proceed with the GOG.com installation process.

After
the base game has been installed, now it's time to proceed with the
installation of the Revision Mod. This gets easy because the Bottle
into which you installed the original Deus Ex is right there for you to
install the Revision Mod. You may not have a CrossTie available, which
if you do not, proceed to Install the "unlisted Application". Just make
sure to install it into the existing Bottle for Deus Ex.

Now,
with the game and the mod installed, there is one more step before
running Deus Ex! We need to install "Direct X For Modern Games" The
dependencies within the Direct X For Modern Games are needed if you had
to "install an unlisted application" due to the CrossTie Not being
available. If that's the case, then Install Direct X For Modern Games
into the bottle for Deus Ex.

Once Direct X For Modern Games is finished Installing into the Bottle, you are ready to play Deus Ex!
