Avoiding issues with compatibility (Older Windows Operating Systems)
When installing the Revision Mod, using GOG.com, install into the already existing Deus Ex Installation Bottle. Also make sure not to install the base Deus Ex game as Windows XP, but rather install as a Windows 7-10 Bottle for the GOG.com version. This issue isn't the case, nor will it continue to be an issue with a Steam Installation as Steam will cease supporting Windows 7 and earlier in November. The correct installation in Steam depends on your installation of the Steam Bottle, which should have already been taken care of with installing in Windows 10 and 64-bit.
