Analog joystick connected via gameport works - it's not exactly useful, but it works...a many multi buttoned mouse may help...
A USB connected analog joystick may or maynot work - the generic noname model here had no Y axis at all..
My meanderings with the logitech gamepad came up short too -- some buttons are recognized but the X-Y pad thing was missing....
This is =not= a title I intend to try the GT-4 wheel with (you really need a flight-yolk for this title)
Oh...it occurred to me while browsing the ingame control setup screen, that there is this overall kind of 'duality' regarding the control setups....ie; this is a game meant to be played with both mouse and keyboard. Then I sort of thought..well hang on a moment, if I map my DVD player's IR remote back to keyboard events, and use the remote's X-Y pad thingy as IR mouse, you might have some interesting fun here...(fortunately, it was only a passing thought...seems feasible tho' ;)
