  • Number Of Processors: 1

  • Depth: 32-bit
  • Color Built-In: Yes

  • Main Display: Yes
  • Mirror: Off
  • Online: Yes
  • Quartz Extreme: Supported

INTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: These instructions are for running the game at FULL pixels (1920x 1179) with an average rate of 49fps.

  1. Run CROSSOVER and install STEAM
  2. Open steam/Log-in then Download CS:S
  3. In STEAM, on the tab “My Games”, Select CS:S
  4. Click “Properties”, then “Launch options”
  5. Edit to contain only the following: -novid –windowed –w 800
  6. press OK, Press close, then ‘Launch’.
  7. Don’t worry about it being small for the minute. In the CS:S menu, click ‘options”
  8. Click the ‘Video” Tab, then click ‘Advanced’ Settings should be as follows:
    Model Detail: High
    Texture Detail: High
    Shader Detail: Low
    Water Detail: Simple Reflections
    Shadow Detail: Low
    Color Correction: Disabled (grayed out)
    Antialiasing Mode: None
    Filtering mode: Bilinear
    Wait for vert sync: Disabled
    High Dynamic Range: None

(NOTE: if you want to have better water/shadow etc, play around with what works best with you, but don’t bother changing the Bilinear settings, that will really make it slow)
  9. Click OK, Then Change the ‘Aspect Ratio’ to ‘16:10’ and THEN the ‘resolution’ to ‘1920x1179’
  10. Click ok. And that’s it!

The only catch is you need to set the resolution every time you start up (advance settings will save). Just go options and change the resolution for now. I’m SURE there is a command line for all of this, I just don’t know it, so until someone edits this, this is the answer for iMac 24”.

Enjoy!
