Note: there can be a way to greatly improve the speed of the game. Here’s how to do it: Run 'wine regedit', browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\AppDefaults, Right-click on that key and create a new key RA2.exe. Right-click on the new RA2.exe key and create a new key Direct3D. In that key create two strings variables: DirectDrawRenderer with value: opengl and RenderTargetLockMode with value readtex.
IMPORTANT!! While creating strings think about capital letters, they need to exact the same as mentioned!
