If you want to play C&C 3, you will need to follow the instructions given here about installation, but also make sure you are using CrossOver Games 7.0.0.
If you are using the latest version (7.1.1 at the time of writing) then you will find that the game will start up successfully, but you will be stuck at an "Enter name" box and your keyboard will not be recognised. Your mouse pointer will also be invisible.
Neither of these problems exist in 7.0.0.
7.0.0 can have some in-game display problems on my iMac (which ironically seem to be fixed in 7.1.1). Set the "shader detail" level to low from within the game's own display options to avoid having blue-tinted battle fields.
