Civ 3 (non-Steam) + Civ 3:Conquests on XOverGames 8.1.4 on Ubuntu amd64, ATI fglrx video driver
Installation works fine. Gameplay futile due to black/corrupted in-game map
Major problems remaining:
* CD copy protection. [http://www.codeweavers.com/support/wiki/dmca]
* Font problems when starting. "Error loading font (Error code 28)"

# ln -s LSANS.TTF LSANS.fot
# ln -s LSANS.TTF civ3PTW/LSANS.fot
# ln -s LSANS.TTF Conquests/LSANS.fot
# sudo chown root LSANS.fot
# sudo chown root civ3PTW/LSANS.fot
# sudo chown root Conquests/LSANS.fot
* Mouse clicks in main menu have to be done with both mouse buttons
