There appears to be a regression in CXGames 9.0. Civilization 2 no longer works. The installation does not complete cleanly and then when you try to run the program (even if you update from an earlier bottle), the game will not start up.
So if you really need this game to work, stick with CXGames 8.1.4; it worked fine for that version.
