Like all new Windows (e.g. Windows 10) - you won't be able to install most copies of CM 9k (there are some like GOG version that might work). You can install it on a Windows that work... then copy out the folder.
Copy the folder into the drive_c of a bottle with Windows 98. Run command and create shortcut to Chessmaster.exe in the folder.
