- When using Cheat Engine to modify in-game values, make sure to install it in the same bottle as your game. If they’re in separate bottles, Cheat Engine won’t be able to access the game’s processes, making it impossible to read or change values. Keep them together, and you should have no issues adjusting whatever you need. It will work just like in Windows.
