Cheat Engine Tips

Extra Icons in Crossover?

After installing Cheat Engine through CrossOver, you might notice a flood of launch icons within CrossOver’s interface. It looks messy, doesn’t it? Here’s a quick way to clear out the clutter and keep only the icons you need like the 64-bit version of Cheat Engine

### **Steps to Remove the Extra Icons:**

1. **Navigate to the Application Folder:**
Open the Finder and head over to:
**Macintosh HD** → **Users** → **{your Mac username}** → **Applications** → **CrossOver** → **Cheat Engine 7.5**

2. **Delete the Unwanted Icons:**
Inside this folder, you’ll see a bunch of Cheat Engine launch icons. Feel free to **delete every icon you don’t need** leave only the version you want to use.

For most people, that’s going to be:
**Cheat Engine (64-bit)**

3. **Restart CrossOver:**
After clearing out the extras, **restart CrossOver**, and voila! Your workspace should be neat and clean now, with only the icons you want.

Boom! No more clutter—just Cheat Engine in all its glory. Happy hacking (in single-player games, of course)!
