The CASL IDE does work well in Crossover, as long as you are creating PDA files that use the CASL runtime.
However, if you are targeting CASLpro standalone prc files as output, the IDE calls batch files that compile the C code with gcc and prc-tools. This fails. There may be registry keys required for CASL to find and use the gcc components, the c_build batch file may need mods, or it may just not work yet.
Installing cygwin (required for prc-tools) in Crossover is also tricky.
