Full Screen mode, which is enabled by default, does not actually disable, move, cover or otherwise take into account GNOME Nautilus toolbars. This causes the room selectors to be difficult to access and prevents some access to the bottom drawer.
Workaround: Exit Full Screen mode. To do so, select Full Screen Mode from the Windows menu.
