I wanted to add a new tip for everyone who comes looking for a way to install this app.
Create a new bottle and choose Install an unlisted application.
Choose your installer file for CC3+ (as of this writing it is v3.98). For the bottle OS, choose WinXP 64-bit. Do not change to any other OS during the install process of CC3+ and its expansions.
Install CC3+. When it finishes the install, uncheck the box for running CC3+ after closing the install window. Crossover needs to run other processes first before you can run the app.
Install expansion programs (Dungeon Designer, City Designer, etc.) into the bottle by repeating the same steps as above with the exception of Fractal Terrains 3+.
For installing Fractal Terrains 3+, open the Wine settings and change the bottle OS to Windows 10.
Install FT3+ into the bottle. When it's complete switch the OS back to Win XP 64-bit
Install Cartographer's Annual packs if you have them.
The only other install I added to the bottle was the Core Fonts that can be found in the installable apps by searching for "fonts".
