I run Cake Poker with CrossOver 8.0.1 under Win 98 bottle with IE6 installed.
Install IE6 prior to installing Cake Poker. You can install IE6 via Configure > Install Software... Internet Explorer 6. CrossOver will give you the Microsoft download link for IE6 (it's actually IE6 SP1 now). Within the Microsoft page, click IE6 SP1 from Download Centre.
During the IE6 installation you will get an error. Ignore the error and click "Attempt to continue installation without part 2". Within the IE6 installation window you will be given the choice of Standard or Custom install. Ensure you click Custom and make sure only the core IE6 components are being installed. Once IE6 is installed, you're ready to install Cake Poker.
Cake Poker works pretty much flawlessly through CrossOver. The only small gripe I have is if you're multi-tabling (five or more), the response to mouse click is slightly lagged. How ever, I think this is more of an issue of the Cake client rather then CrossOver, as I find it sometimes lags a little in Windows OS as well.
