It is possible to get C64 Forever 2009 (but not 2012) running in Crossover 12.
You will need to install it as an unsupported application.
You need to install it (from the MSI file or the ISO file) file. It will install normally, however Crossover will not detect that the installation has finished, so you'll have to manually end the installation by clicking the x next to the installation progress. Once that is done the menus are created correctly.
You can run the application, you might need to click between the tabs to get the display to update, and you'll have it run it in full-screen so that the display works, the window mode will only produce a white/black screen.
