Installation of C1 Pro version 3.74 works flawlessly on my system. But
application refuses to launch. If I run with the --verbose option for
wine, it tells me that it's missing liblcms. Once I compiled and installed the
library from http://www.littlecms.com, the application launched without any problems.
I don't know if the app is leveraging any other DLL installed as a result of MS Office XP being there (but in a different bottle)...or if it's using any customization in terms of extra Linux libraries added to my company's customization of Red Hat Linux AS 4.0_Update2. If you run into problems, let me know what it is and I'll try to help figure it out.
Activation of a license from PhaseOne to remove the 30 day trial limit for the application has not been successful. I tried both the online and manual activation and failed. I contacted PhaseOne support and they said they are not able to and have no plans to help get the licence installed properly on Wine. dixonly
