The first thing that Bridge Baron does after it is intalled; is to reset the user prefrences (found in ~/.cxoffice/dotwine/user.reg). Unfortunatly this causes the program to fail right after the flash screen, the program is still running in the back ground, but requires a cxoffice reset. Follow the first tip under Tips and Tricks to get it running.
