Registry changes needed for Steam version of Braid on Mac OS X
The Steam version of Braid freezes the screen (and computer?) if run with COG 8.1.4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8. You need to make the following changes to the registry (you can do that in the Steam bottle even before you install braid) with regedit:
