Bioshock on Mac OS!
First of all,
Bioshock Remastered and
Bioshock 2 Remastered are available on Mac OS via the Mac App Store as of the time of this article being published. But what if you are using a Mac and have it on Steam? Well look no further than the other option of running the game through Steam on Codeweavers Crossover. I have the full video guide to
Installing Steam in Codeweavers Crossover
here. After installing Steam, make sure the preferences for the game are set correctly. High Resolution Mode should be off for Classic Bioshock, as the game was not built for higher resolutions with its release in 2007.
For reference, take a look at how to turn the Advanced Settings on or off for Classic Bioshock
Bioshock 1 & 2 Remastered
With the Remastered Versions on Steam with Crossover, the installation is the same with Steam, only difference being turning on high resolution mode for Steam this time. As the remastered editions of Bioshock 1 & 2 are native for higher resolutions. With that taken care of, you now know how to get Bioshock 1 & 2 Remastered running on Steam!
With all of these steps completed, you should have a great time playing Bioshock Classic and the Bioshock Remastered using Codeweavers Crossover! In conclusion, I would like to invite you to check out the
