To fix the game from looping a 2 second audio clip (not to be confused with the syncing issues) :
1. Go to "Configure"
2. Go to "Manage Bottles"
3. Go to "Advanced"
4. Go to "Open C: Drive in Finder"
Travel to the beyond good and evil folder. For steam it would be:
5. Go to C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/beyond good and evil/
6. Open SettingsApplication.exe using Crossover
7. Click the "Sound Settings" tab.
8. Under Sound card select "Built-in Output".
