Use the file browser accessed by pressing V on the music selection screen
Once you are in a custom location, you can use the built in selector
Don't select "My Computer" in the game, it will crash
If the alternative file browser crashes for you after selecting a new location, you should try running the game in a window (using the game's options menu and not an emulated desktop)
