ac1st16.dll should, of course, have been installed, and you should be able to find it in /Program\\ Files/Common\\ Files/Autodesk\\ Shared/. The problem is that neither AutoCAD or wine are configured to look here by default, so this is where it becomes necessary to tweak configuration :s
In 2.1 versions:
1) edit the file ~/.cxoffice/config
2) go to the section [wine]
3) the "Path" = "" line IN THIS SECTION is a list of paths where wine looks for files that it doesn't know where they are by default, all separated by semicolons (;).
4) add to the end (within the "")
5) make sure that you have written it as above (assuming you installed to the 'c:' drive, and that that is where the files are located
In 4.1, I can't the way, but you can run the program using:
The command above, makes autocad find the DLL's it need, runing it using a work directory were the DLL's files are; now you don't have a message for a missing DLL's. But now the program don't run for me, with the follow message:
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\\\Program Files\\\\AutoCAD 2004\\\\acad.exe" failed, status c0000142
