If you have had problems during installation with microsoft DCOM. The way to fix this is through the built-in AutoCAD installation repair, which can be found by clicking the uninstall/repair button in crossover setup when AutoCAD is selected, then going for the 'repair installation' options.
In 4.1 or above, if the installation fails (as the window of the installation don't respond), you can Kill the installation program, and using CXSetup you can repair the installation with the Uninstall tool of AutoCAD.
