Follow the installation as normal clicking on Yes, and accept for Microsoft products.
- During the Microsoft .NET installations (multiple) - Click on [Restart Later], do not click on Restart Now.
- During the 4.8 .NET setups you will get a Warning that "Setup may not run properly, because Windows Modules Installer Service is not available on this computer". Please click [Continue]
- For the Internet Explorer 8 you will get a notice that it is not supported on this platform, it is OK click Skip Installation, we are not trying to get IE8 working but from researching this installs some underlying libraries that are needed.
- During the ARC Installer you will get to a screen with three check marks. Please un-click all of them. They are
- Launch Arc
- Automatically launch Arc when Windows starts
- Share computer and system data with us improve our product and services.
This will complete the actual installation.
The next steps are a bit of flaky as it might take a while to work.
- Firs Step is go to the CrossOver Client and the Arc games Client bottle. On the right side you will see in Light Red [Quit All Applications] click on it.
- If the button changes to [Force Quit] go ahead do so.
- Next steps set, DXVK, CSMT, Esync to On. This will require the Reboot of the Bottle.
- If the Light Red button changes to [Force Quit] go ahead and press on it.
- When done click on the "Repair Arc" icon, and wait for it to start and repair the client.
- After it is finished it will display a log on window, you can go ahead and log in.
ARC Game Client problems.
Some times ARC client refuses to start, so you will have to go through the [Quit All Applications], [Force Quit] sometimes multiple times to get it to come up, if it still does not, then go through the steps and click on Repair Arc, which should start it or at least repair it.
