Get the windows installer, not from the microsoft store. This is the hardest step. Googling is required.
Try this link, from Wine HQ for Amazon Music: if the link doesn't work try there:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/dmus...
Auto update works after install so the version you install with is not very important.
Do an unlisted app install.
Mine is using Windows 10 mode.
Window minimisation does not work well in Gnome, to fix edit the wine config, Graphics tab and choose Emulate a virtual desktop. I use 1000x1000 window size.
Audio output requires no particular tweaking. PulseAudio output works fine.
To enjoy the full capabilities of Amazon music, you need to tweak your pulseaudio/pipewire to increase the max bit rate (which has nothing to do with Wine/Crossover, you have to do it anyway to get high bit rates). See
https://wiki.archlinux.org/tit... heading Changing the default sample rate
I get 192KHz/24 bit output to a usb c dac, and to my bluetooth speakers which do AptXHD they get 48KHz/24 bit which is the limit of this codec.
