Probably, there will be some graphic problem when installed that makes it crash. To fix Launch 'Manage Bottles', choose AVP2, choose the 'Control Panel'-tab, then mark 'Wine Configuration' and click "Launch Selected Item". This launches a window with configuration options. Choose the tab 'Graphics' and make sure 'Emulate virtual desktop' is marked. This worked for me (though I'm still having problems with the sound), but maybe it won't for you. If not, then try unmarking 'Allow Pixel Shader' and/or change 'Support for Vertex Shader' to none.
Inside the game, the mouse may behave awkward, which is easily fixed in the mouse-options (inside the game)
