The issue: You can actually outrun most of the Aliens in the game, without having to fight or kill them. <- And that's not a joke. I have played through the entire game and I can verify the issue. Don't believe me? Take a look at this then. I assume Gearbox thought: "ain't nobody got time for that!" when they got close to the deadline & release date of ACM. Who's got time to fix that kind of stuff nowadays anyways?!
The fix: Well, there is no actual fix for it. At least not one that I am aware of. But do yourself a favor and play the game at high-highest difficulty levels right from the start. Even if you can still run past a lot of the enemies, it will be a much greater challenge in other levels.
