The game initially runs in fullscreen and you'll get nothing but a blank screen.
In Crossover go to Manage Bottles > Control Panels > Wine Config > Graphics
and enable Emulate Virtual Desktop. Set the size to something plain (1024x768) and start the game. Go to the ingame options and disable fullscreen and then you can disable the virtual desktop in Wine Config and the game will run just fine.
